Scheherazade is the stage name of the magician illusionist Desislava Dimitrova, born on 26.06.1986 in the city of Sofia. As a daughter of the famous illusionist Bobi Show, she has been in artistic surroundings since she was a child. Her first appearance on stage was at age of only 5 years in the role of Kristo’s assistant in the “Magic parade” show that took place in the National Palace of Culture.
Called the flower of Bulgarian magic Desislava Dimitrova is a master of stage performances. Despite the expectations formed by her exotic alias, Scheherazade establishes a new fashion in the stage presence. Long – haired brunette appears in business suit. She relies on her dexterous hands and does not count on sexy vision or sets. Scheherazade develop different magic studies foreseen for on stage performance such as flying objects, ropes, candles, pigeons, fire, illusions etc. She could elaborate different magic programs that could be integrated part of thematic shows on demand by the client.
On 08.10.2011 Scheherazade wins the first place in the “General magic” category of the 8thBalkan festival in Belgrade. On 23.01.2012 she was the only one elected to represent Bulgaria in the “festival of arts” in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.
On 01.04.2012 during the national magic review Scheherazade wins the honoured statuette “Magician of the year” that was bestowed for a first time in Bulgaria.
On 30.01.2013 she was in the "Festival of arts" in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.
On 01.05.2013 until 15.09.2013 she worked in Spain.
From 06.11.2013 until 05.01.2014 she shot all season TV show for Al Jazeera children's channel.
